A long time ago, an ancient civilisation created the first AI, ALICE. When the civilisation fell the technology that created her was lost. Despite this she still follows her main directives. Across the centuries an advanced multi-planet civilisation has risen under her guidance, and mortals have claimed their spot in the stars.
The DIVINE are upper-dimensional beings who created the current civilisation. They have gained limited influence over ALICE, but not control. The DIVINE were stuck in a century-long technological cold war, until one day something changed. The day never rose and time stood frozen in an eternal night. ALICE declared the beginning of the Time Era. If this was a sign that the DIVINE of Time had won the race, or something else, no one knows.
Find The Source
You are a Time Traveller who exists at the end of time, either sent into the future or brought here the Last Day and are tasked with a mission: kill the source of the frozen day, whether the source be DIVINE or mortal.. If they can bleed; they will die.
Decide Who To Be
Who do YOU want to be? Want to be an uploaded mind in a digital angel or demon body? Or a gaseous creature using a hologram to appear humanoid? Or a risen Spector serving as a Guard to the DIVINE? Or maybe you’d like to be made of inorganic materials, work as part of a hive mind, be a regular human being, or some other kind of strange alien? Work with the Game Masters to decide.
You will be invited to meet with the Game Masters online to learn more about the setting and to build your character. As part of this process, we will build ties between your character and the world and hooks into different plots.
Players will then be invited to attend a special prelude scene run like a standard tabletop roleplaying game session to help connect them into the world.
